A boss monster, or simply boss, refers to the strongest monster in a dungeon or battlefield. It is very difficult for a player at the equal level of a boss to be able to defeat one, requiring coordination with other players. Bosses have special attack patterns that differentiate themselves from other monsters and can even perform weapon skills.
